Does any one know if Sabre Defence manufactures a 14.5" M4 Gov't profile barrel. NFA length without a that perm Flash hider nonsense? I've been looking for one but all I can come up with are the 16" "M4" barrels for sale.

For that matter since I can't find a Colt 14.5" for a decent price what would you buy instead?:

1) Bushmaster

2) Stag

3) LMT

4) Bravo Co. (who makes these?)

CMMG should have 14.5 M4 barrels as well IIRC.

I would take one from LMT or Bushy

For 14.5's I'd buy CMMG & then LMT or BCM coming in second. Not sure who makes the barrels for BCM.

Personally, I think LMT makes the best barrel. You couldn't go wrong with any of them you have listed though.

Personal choice for me would be LMT, then CMMG, then Bushy

I've got 14.5"s from Bushy, LMT and Colt. If I had to build another and couldn't get a Colt I'd get another LMT.

Nothring wrong with the Bushy, but the LMT offers extended feed ramps that my Bushy doesn't and comes in 1:7 twist. IMHO that gives it a bit more 'value' for the money.

I have a Sabre barrel that I bought directly from them about 1 1/2 yrs. ago, and it is a 14.5" barrel. I put a phantom on it, but it DID start out as a 14.5".

LMT is my first choice. Followed by CMMG inc.
