Magpul trigger guard folding model

I've always wondered what the peice of metal right above the trigger between the mag release button and the safe/fire. I've seen it on alot of AR's just never asked.

Ref. Pic - Yes, member jmccoy got it right, it's the generation 2 KNS non-rotating trigger/ hammer pins. KNS Precision, Inc. website link

The pic on the top left corner of AR15.com pages shows the first generation KNS non-rotation pins, they don't make them anymore and customers that bought them could get free available gen 2 upgrade kits upon request from KNS Precision.

It is the only AR I have. I have posted before, but here are the details:
LMT lower with single stage trigger
LMT MRP upper 10.5" barrel
EOTech 512
Daniel Defense mount with Surefire G2
Troy front sight, ARMS rear sight
UTG VFG (airsoft poser, but I like it)
Magpul enhanced trigger guard
Specter single point sling

That is the single most disturbing thing I have seen on this forum yet. Even worse than Captain Helmet on page 10. I would seriously like to know the thought process that went into that picture, if any.

You, sir, are an artist beyond compare. The depth of this single photo has damned near caused my head to explode.

I have been sitting here cracking up so hard for the last 25 minutes that I can barely breathe, but I swear to God I will have nightmares about that thing.

Well, it actually was done to torment my wife. She thinks throwing a gun into various pictures, especially ones with food, is silly. I decided to make a snowman with the kids and thought I may start a new trend with a pic of an AR in there as well.

I also wanted to see if I could pull of a pic with an AR in my front yard without the neighbors calling the police.

Thanks for the compliments!

edit: just went back to page 10.... even worse than captain helmet?!?!?!?! at least there is an AR in the pic!

If your refering to mfingar's pic, that is a surefire pressure switch. The Model name is SR-XX, with the XX being whatever length cord you want. I have a SR-02. Surefire has a lot of stuff that isn'r shown on their website. Opticsplanet.com is a good resource to look for surefire parts and accessories. Now back to this being a pic thread.

How's that A2 work? I'm assuming this barrel is shorter than 14.5" so I was just wondering if the A2 still holds up reasonably well at hiding the flash.

are you a LEO, or is your suppressor/night vision work just recreational?

New to the Board and new to AR's, I figured I would start by posting pics of my first AR, haven't done anything to it yet.

assuming you have experience with an ACOG, which do you prefer, the compact ACOG or the ACOG? I have been considering the compact ACOG.

the TA01NSN is a great scope, and pretty affordable too.

Girlfriend liked the lightweights weight, but didnt like the red dot, really liked the ACOG, but thought N4 was too heavy. So now I have his and hers gun set ups.

New guy here. Just picked up this DPMS Lite 16. Shot it for the first time on New Years day and quickly realized that I'm now a junky. A friend gave me the Bushnell to get me by until I decide what optics I'm going to get.

WOW!

You win. I have no idea how you did that, can you expand on what exactly that took to make? I assume it was a lot of work. Good job!

My measley contribution.
