7.62x39 or x54r?

the mag makes it look like it could only be x39 and in that case, I guess you can only reach out and touch someone if they're within a 100 yards

yes, the one of our soldier holding the rifle is definately a Yugo M76 (think that's the right number), but I don't think that is what's in the pic with the Iraqi. The one with the Iraqi has an AK47/7.62x39 mag coming out of it, while the Yugo M76 takes either .308, or 8mm mauser ammo.
