The brake is supposed to push it down and to the left.  Since your left arm supports that side, in full auto it tends to rise up and to the right. Therefore you need compensate buy using a cant on the brake.  I know it looks a little weird  if you haven't seen it up close before but it's on right.

I think he realises that it's supposed to be slanted/canted, but from what I understand him saying is that his is more canted than it is supposed to be.

Can you post a pic so that others can tell for sure if it's more than normal, or if it's correct?

Just back it off until it lines up right, remember its supposed to have a little wobble, you don't want it turned down tight.

Kind of a small pic, but does yours look like this?  If so, it's all good.

Looks okay I guess,  I need eue glasses just to focus in the picture though.  Hey is that an ace stock or a crapco.  If it's a crapco how do you like it?  I thought about getting one but decided to get a romanian folder(arrives tommorrow) for the sake of stability and reliability instead of comfort.

haha, just got mine.  I am in advanced stages of loving it.  Recoil seems noticibly less harsh, able to maintain sight on target.  Of course, i am not going full auto, so i guess that the slant break has me beat there.

Yep, as everyone above me posted your brake is fine - thats the way its supposed to be.  Its an AK, stop worrying about stuff "lining up" and being symetrical.........if thats what you want buy an AR.

true.....in all reality i dont care that much how straight it is...it is a bump firing pig.......i love it.the only reason i am semetrical is because i have been shooting my springfeild 30-06 and my 30-30 for so long.so i am used to rifles that will shoot straight every time instead of destroying a mountainside in 5 seconds like my ak.....oh and my stock is a tapco..i have found it to be rather strong, suprisingly strong.i think i would rather have an under folder though..cause i cant shoot my ak with the stock folded or else the bolt carreir smashes into it throwing the stock into my arm in a grewsome fashion.
