I am new to the ak deal. I am interested in an ak type rifle that fires .223 ammo. just a few quick questions.
1. Does this rifle fire regular 5.56 miltary surplus ammo?
2. How hard is it to find magazines?
3. what kind of accuracy can one expect from it?
4. How reliable is it as compared to a 7.62x39 model?
thanks in advance for your help. Also is there a place to read up on this so I dont hafta bug you guys with stupid questions? Thanks again

AIM Surplus has .223 WASRs...I bought one a month ago($329.00). Their alot nicer than the older WASR and come with a TAPCO FCG already installed. Mags for that gun are cheap and plentifull....I ran an ad in the EE and found abunch on the gun boards....bakelite and wieger metal. Anywhere from around $12-$20 for normal mags. I also own a Chinese preban in .223 and mags are bitch to find and expensive. Reliability...hey its an AK. Here it is after a few mods.
