are Norinco sks's (without break/threads) legal in ca?

What an irony. We went to war in Iraq to free the Iraqi people, who were allowed to own FA AKs even under Saddam. A citizen of the US has to ask if it's legal to own a semi auto rifle and in many cases the answer will be no. Someone tell the President. Maybe he will declare war on Kalifornia.

You know, you're right. I dont know what I'm even doing here in "kalifornia". Why dont i just move to iraq right now since the determining factor in how great a place to live is simply whether or not you can own a fully automatic weapon?

PS. Maybe my brain is screwey, but I thought we went to war in iraq because saddam was going to get us with "nukular" weapons and WMD, and that we couldnt wait for the smoking gun to come in the form of a mushroom cloud.





Anyway, back on topic. I think all SKS's are legal in california as long as they have the 10 round fixed mag. The only problem comes in when you've got the Yugo M59/66 that has the grenade launcher at the tip, but you can either get those with the grenade launcher removed for a small price.

But yeah, as long as the norinco isnt an SKS d/m that uses AK magazines, you should be fine.
