Is there anyone else out there waiting on a receiver from global trades? Its coming up on two months now and each time I call I'm told it will be another 2 - 3 weeks.

Two months is normal. Disregard what you are told on the phone - the actual order-receipt DATA collected from members here, and on other boards, is between 6 and 8 weeks for a standard Type 2 receiver.

Now - if you asked for anything special (other than a Park job)? All bets are off - could take six months :)

just type 2 with park job on 3 receivers. Just need them before mid april for family reunion shoot.

the bug got to me. I built my first ak which was a yugo uf and dci receiver. I had a great kit to start with and dci hooked me up within a 2 weeks. guess I was spoiled.

If you ask for anything special, they probably won't make it right the first time.

Mine took just under 3 months,I was in no hurry because my gunsmith said 6 month wait period.
Gives me enough time to build funds.I got the unfinished and I'm getting it completely parked
