I was looking at an Ultimal fore-end mount set up for my Arsenal SAM-7   Does anyone out there have this mount and do you know if it will allow use of the irons as back up with any of the sights out there?  (eotech,aimpoint, kobra, etc?)

If you mount an Aimpoint tube on low rings, irons may be seen thru the lower portion.

Also consider the 'forever' life of AA battery EOTechs, and quick toss throw levers on weaver Kobras.
