This is my new favorite rifle. I finally cleaned all of the yak guts off of it.
I bought it as an excellent grade from Centerfire. The metal is in very good condition and the wood is decent without any gouges. The bore seems to be perfect.
It handles great and shoots even better. I ran about 30 rounds through it without a hitch. I thought that I wanted one that accepts AK mags but the finish wasn't nearly as nice as my Yugo.
I only had a few minutes to shoot but the sights were dead on without any adjustment. I was hitting targets out to 75 yards from a standing position with ease.
I would prefer a peep site but the standard ones work fine. It will take me a little while to get comfortable loading with the stripper clips.
Initially, I thought that I would remove the bayonet and lighten it a little but i think I will leave it original.
