busij44 pistol build he posted a while back inspired me to look into getting a quote on a fake Bulgarian 4 piece flash hider. I am looking into having some similar to his made up but before I give the manufacturer the go ahead I want to see if there is a market. They would be solid 6061 alluminum with a black anodized finish ready to screw on. They would be 14x1 LH threads. The price would be roughly $30 they would be about 2 3/4" long and 1 3/8" in diameter. I could also have some 4 1/4" ones made for AMD builds but the price would be more.
Heres some pics of busij44 build Im not sure what the deminsuions of his are but Im guessing mine would be slightly longer.

When you say fake do you mean it isn't a Bulgarian or it doesn't hide the flash?

Just kicking it around, If they were made out of steel they'd be a bit heavier and help muzzle control..

That looks weird. how about a L1A1 type w/ bayonut lug for the ak? screw on.

Hell, the ban is over, make a real flash hider.
Better yet, since this is intended for pistols and short barreled rifles, make a compensator. |

These would be a fake flash hider meaning they dont hide the flash mostly just for looks. Here is a inside view of the Bulgarian design which is to complicated to reproduce.
 I could have them made from steel and then black oxided. The inside diameter would be about 9/16". |

Wonderful things can be realized with stereolithography and rapid-prototyping courtest of ARDEC..heh, heh. Yeah, and that means our little Bulgarian four piece friend, too  .
