so whats the word on mag clamps? good idea or mall ninja wanna-be?

I see that there are about a billion and one different versions, is any design better than an other? For example, I've seen hard polymer ones and I've seen what appear to be some kind of nylon strap. Some hold them side-by-side, and others hold one upside-down.

nobody uses them in a serious fashion....okay...that answers my question. Guess I wont be getting them after all. Thats okay, I didnt need the extra weight anyways.

I suppose some kind of vest or pouch is the only way to go.
