I appears that the feed lips have been ground down or off. I suppose one could lop the top off and replace it with the top of a donor magazine. But it would be worthless to collectors.

It looks like it would be a nice mag for display purposes only. I would guess it to be too much of a pain in the ass to make it a functioning mag again.

Yeah, thats too bad. would have been cool. At least Stottman gets some of these.

I suppose one could epoxy new feed lips on there, but would be hard to get it right. The measurements would have to be right on. Plus the originals have metal feed lip inserts. That could complicate it.
I have some other Russian mags like that (they have to cut them for free-sale in Russia) and have thought about it, but didnt think it was feasable. |
