| I just got my folder, but have never held a gun with one installed. The receiver stub is still attatched, so I can see where to make the cuts for the folder mechanism. It also comes with a small pin, latch, and spring. I assume this is to hold the stock against the receiver when folded. I have no idea where or how to install this. Any help would be welcome. The hook, pin, and spring go in the front end of the receiver on the levt side. Google some krinks and check out the images of the stock folded to see the install. Check out the following link for blueprints on the install: pookieweb.dyndns.org:61129/AK/docs/templates.htm HTH,

| Thanks, the blueprints are exactly what I needed. I still haven't found an installation diagram for the pin/latch/spring, but I haven't searched too hard yet. I see on the print that you actually drill into the trunion for the pin. How to orient the spring is what I'm looking for now. Thanks again for the link. |
