Do you definitely need this when threading the barrel? |
| Yes you need the TAT. Without it, the treads can and probably will be started at an angle. The TAT helps get it started fairly straight. It will work well enough for a flash hider or muzzle break, which is what most people are looking for. But it probably won't be straight enough for a sound suppressor. |
