Hi! I received my Tantal Brake from Hot Barrel (Gunco) Yesterday. It's very sweet and EXACT! It's in the white though so will need to be refinished with your kit. Guy's don't miss the boat on these tantal brakes and tantal pistons... cheap copies of the originals and will count for us parts For $30 and a USA part (clearly stamped on the bottom) I'm happier than a pig in shit! I read the thread you linked to about the pistons, but there was little there about the pistons. Did I miss something? Any pics of a Tantal piston beside a standard piston?

I received my brake and piston with VERY short turnaround and have already sent them off to the builder. I was pleased.

Josh is building mine.
He's also going to be building me a Polish AKM clone using a laukart laminate stockset and a PMKMS kit minus the underfolder. The underfolder is going to be used on a "mutt" shooter underfolder made from a Romy parts kit. |

Were the front ports on your brake kind of uneven. I have gotten two of them and they both had uneven metal in the front ports---I wouldn't dream of sending them back. Will take a 15 min with a dremel and file to make nice.
