Their is nothng to wedge a screw driver against (at least that I think is sturdy enough to withstand the force) to push it out. So that rules out the Romanian site. I also wave tried to hammer it out usung a stake of sorts no luck. Can you think of anything or point me to someone who can?

lay the gun across your lap and smack the side of the stock near the bottom...turn it over and do it again, after a few times it should start working loose.

brass punch and a rubber hammer.
Mine was very tight had to wack it hard.

Hold your rifle in one hand, the barrel pointing up, off the ground.
Use a Rubber mallet to whack the Muzzle repeatedly. Inertia will cause the buttstock to slowly back itself out. (I know this cuz I used to date a girl named Inertia  )

Worked like a charm with a rubber mallot. Just took a second set of hands pulling away as we wacked away at it. |

Will eventually not in a hurry though. Looks are not really a concern as far as AKs nor should they be. I don't buy showpieces.

Looks like my WASR, but with a kvar black plastic stock. It's a bit of a mutt.. Ugly as hell, mistreated and badly dressed, but she can dance

Its a tapco all-in-one Tapco sells just the trunion adaptor as well. If persay you want a SopMod stock. |
