Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Stock Replacment on a SLR 95

I just picked up a US made polymer stock and pistol grip for my SLR 95.  I removed the thumbhole stock to find that I only have the upper tung.  How do I install a lower tung?  If I put this stock on, will I have to add more US parts to make it a legal firearm?

some people say u dont actually need the lower tang i would install it without and see how it looks/feels
yes u have to add us parts if u change from a butthole stock

Where can I get quality work done on my SLR-95?  Lower tung work, trigger work, refinishing?
