It will probably be "not as dirty as I woulda thunk" even after 500 rounds. I just completey stripped mine down and I was very surprised at how clean the bore was and the receiver. Maybe because I don't feed Wolf through it?

Cool, huh? I have put 2,300 rds through my SAR-1 in six trips to the range without ANY problems! Have fun!

thanks for the warm and generous replies on a side note, looks like AK #2 deal is done so now I will be in trouble with the wife AGAIN traded a G1 kit with a pile of goodies for another SAR-1 that I can really get funky with. and a RPK kit with receiver I will be building. damn guns I need to just get another AR-15 and say the hel ......nah, more is better Gary |

You know, these guys who bitch about the AKs accuracy must be real deadeye dicks. I can shoot my AR better from a bench, but standing up? Or sitting firing at 200 yards at a sihouette-how many people can shoot better than a rifle can perfrom under those circumstances?
The sights suck, though-far too small and difficult for me to line up for a combat carbine |
