Looking to pick up 2 or 3 scopes for my ak's. I have been looking at 3 possibilities. The PKS-07, PO 3.5x21 from Centerfire Systems and a COBRA from CDNN. If anyone has used them, has any info or other suggestions - it sure would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Dave

POS 3.5 x 21 has my vote. You'll love the field of view, it is just a little heavy. It balances nice on the 74. Great eye relief.

the kobra is great for fast target pickup.

i'm currently running the 'po' 3.5x21 from centerfire and love it. very sharp, bright picture...even in poor lighting conditions.

hbarski...wth is a "pos" scope? lol!

Thanks for the help! I will order the PO today, i may just pick up one of each. I can mount one on each of the ak's that have the rails. Probally put the PO 3.5x21 on the sar-2 and mount the kobra on the sar-1 and put the PKS-07 on my SA-M7S.  Are they pretty easy to set up? I have heard the kobras are a pain.

Thanks.

Call CDNN first.  What they have is first generation Kobras.  At least this was the case as of 3 weeks ago.

You definately want the second generation Kobra.

This may be a dumb ass question but what is the difference between the first and second generation Kobra's?

1st gen has a weaker mount and uses AA batteries

2nd gen has a stronger mount and uses a lithium wafer type battery(easily available at Radio Shack)
