Saiga with dimpled receiver and non dimpled ?

I may get a Saiga .223 16 inch barrel as they are cheap . I notice theres two types, one with dimpled and non -dimpled receiver .. Is there a difference in maker ?

My understanding is that the older models were not dimpled, but all of the newer models have the dimples. Same manufacturer, same factory. Doesn't make a big difference either way..

Thanks for that info. I called them Mississippi and they said they can hand select for dimpled receiver. But they do charge like 3 percent surcharge if using credit card.
