"not that it needs it, my ruger 10/22 has more recoil!!!" i've often compared the sar-2 w/brake to a .22 rf magnum! the sar-2 has a muzzle diameter that is smaller than 14mm... a 1/2-28 thread can barely be cut on it. there is someone that is making a set screw brake...i'll have to look around. hmmm? aa-ok? global? neither of those sound right... |

Damned if I remember who I got my set screw break from but I think it was aa-ok. Four small dimples drilled into the barrell for the set screws to set in, some loctite on the screws and between the break and the barrel and I have several thousand rounds through it without it slipping a bit.
