Hi

This is my original Finnish SAKO M62 Semi Automatic Assault Rifle ( made only a small limited amount). In Finnish army majority of the assault rifles are made by Valmet...minority are made by SAKO...Normally the SAKO quality and accuracy is a little bit better ...This individual SAKO is extremely accurate...I can shoot 4 inch group from 150 m/ 10 rounds (stock bone...original open sights)
Notice...M62 is not made from steel plates and rivets like Valmet M76...this frame is solid machined steel and very rigid, expensive and accurate...

During my army career in Finland I had also a good luck to own a real SAKO full automatic assault rifle...and that was the reason I was one of the best shooters...

See also the special rubber buffers which soften the functions...

How to hell add a picture in this forum ???? Thanks for your instructions pol_pot_47

I wonder how do you/they divide the re-enactors 10 to 1 as 90% should have to play Russians who only get to shout "aargh!" and play dead

You Finns got make some fine weaponry!  I have a M62 and absolutely love it.  Had a bout of temporary insanity a few months ago and posted it for sale due to another gun purchase, but luckily, reality quickly set in and I kept it.  Glad I smartened up.  Nice gun, pal.  Welcome aboard!

The Finnish plastic mags have a lanyard loop, well, except some of the early green ones. When I was in the army we used leather straps (the legendary "irtohihna"! ) to attach the mag to the rifle so as not to lose it in the snow during an excercise or something.
The black plastic mags are rare and expensive ($60 or so) here in Finland too. Have some of the green ones, IM or e-mail if interested.

Tried to IM back but got a message that you're not receiving any IM messages.
Sent e-mail but got a message that the "delivery has been delayed" whatever that may mean.
If you didn't get my e-mail try e-mailing me useing the "email user" funtion, should work.

Curious....  Is that a polymer buffer I see on the recoll spring assembly?  Does that impact reliability?

*******************

It is made from "hard" rubber...does not impact reliability, but soften the recoil considerably !!!!
