I am seriously considering putting synthetic furniture on my Romak AK, but I haven't found a good source. (I did find some but they weren't for the Romanian version)

I am not intersted in the monty carlo or collapsable stocks. I want a similar shape that the stock wood is (no dragunov holes or anything) just in black syn. furniture.

Any links and/or sources would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

k-var  is prob the best source for US made plastic furniture.  you want the ones for the stamped receiver/AKM pattern(not the milled).

KVAR is the right answer. I have all colors & they are a perfect fit on the Romanians.

I just traded for a set and am very pleased with it.
They have steel inserts molded in and heat shields.
