Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Replacing gas piston on SA93 - Having trouble with it *FIXED*

So I decided to try and replace the gas piston and thought it was a simple unscrewing of it, but it looks like it's pinned in place.  Is this so?  I tried to tap out the pin, but it didn't budge.  What am I doing wrong?

Friend suggested drilling it out cause it's like a rivet and it worked great, so it's fixed! :)
