Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Question about trigger in Bulgarian kit

I bought an Bulgarian ak74 kit and it has a strange (well strange to me) trigger.  It has a sleeve which holds the disconnector in place and has some device attached on the side.  I'm sure some of you know what I'm talking about.  What is it, and can it be used in a semi auto?

the sleeve is to keep it all together, and give it a smooth source to rotate on, the extra "leg" is a rate reducer...pitch all of it and get a RSA unit!
