If you have one, how do you like it. How does it compare to a AK?

Love mine, a bit front heavy, but fit and finish is great!!

Very accurate, very ergonomical, feels great and very comfortable to hold and aim.

It just won't look like your traditional AK. If you don't mind that you should definately buy one.

VEPR FAQ's

First off, the VEPR is an AK... better put, it is a Kalashnikov variant. They are tough, heavy rifles that exhibit a surprising degree of accuracy. They are a good value.

I have two Veprs. 5.45 and 308. Fit and finish are top notch. Acuracy is very good for an AK [its not a bolt gun]. The 308 will be better when they import hi cap mags. This is not an issue with the other calibers. The only complaint I have is the weight. They feel twice as heavy as an SAR. Overall I am very satisfied with mine. Hope this helps, CB
