This magazine came with my just recently acquired first AK, just wondered what it was.

yep, definately polish slabside, i have sevral, great mags.....some say they develop cracks near the catch lugs, i have seen a few, but none affects the functioning of the magazine as they are metal lined

how rare/expensive are those mags? they look pretty sweet, a polymer non-waffle 7.62

try 11.50 when you bought 10 at a time but those days are long gone

12 per a year ago from northridge, and others.
I can get em $20.00 a pop, or 17.00 X 10 now from a local spot that has a box full of em. I may buy them all just to put in this forum. No good just sitting there in a box IMO. |

I'm glad I got them when I did aimsurplus had some left overs and gve them to me for $8 a piece

just bought one at the local gun show for $17.50 what with the 1 at the bottom mine is also marked with that and on back of mag has a C and two trangles one with a k and another with a w?

I got my two from the local gun show for $12 each. One of them has a "1" and the other, in the same area, has a "2". One fits tighter than the other, so don't know if that has something to do with it. Otherwise they are the same. A+ mags, 100% function, very light, and no rust.

I believe the 1 and 2 just refer to which mold they came out of.
