The RPK's used shorter, heavier handguards than the standard rifles. |

as per normal Temp is correct about the Yugo RPK handguards being shorter then M70 handguards

Nice wep.
The export .308s are pretty sweet as well. Particularly with the factory scope mounts. Mags are hard to come by though. |

its a Zastava Reciever...its a real M72..not a kit thrown on a US receiver

That is a very nice M-72..
I just ordered a kit from Copes which I plan to build. Yours appears to be full auto. What condition is the barrel in? Does it heat up quickly? I have noticed that Yugo generally have soft steel and all lack a crome lined bore. Generally speaking how long do you expect the barrel to last? Thanks Ian |

I wouldnt be so quick to say the barrels are soft. They hammer forged the barrels for these guns and I would think it would be a hard metal.
