mattld, you need to stick the cleaning rod back on that rifle! It looks good but there's something missing from the barrel profile...

Not my AK, its a SEAK in plum with just the park finish. Was gungho's now its somebody elses. Great rifle. Never seen a man that can bump from the shoulder like that. I had alot of fun shooting it though.

I need to restore the bayonet lug on my Rommy SAR2. I see yours seems to be "corrected" any advice on parts / restoration? |

Sorry I can't help much on that. My AK is not a SAR-2. It is a SEAK from ORF. Maybe someone else will chime in and help you with that. Sorry. |

lancelot, the easiest way to restore the sar2 bayonet mount is to replace the front sight base with the correct romanian fsb from k-var.

That's what I thought to, but K-Var hasn't had those for a long time and I haven't found a source for them yet.
