| I fired a 2" group at 50 yards with the irons. However, the scope's POA is about 2 feet higher than POI on the maximum elevation setting. I'm wondering whether the scope is messed up or whether the rail was mounted on at a slight angle. |

This is a fairly common problem with the scopes that come with the rifles. My PSL was firing in the dirt at 100 yards and I could not crank it up any further. So here is what I did:
Here is a page with the scope on it: http://www.dragunov.net/lps_scope.html 1. Loosen the the screws on the elevation knob. This will allow you to move the POA down or up. 2. Once you have the bullet strike in the general area, tighten the screws. 3. Now you can use the click adjustment to get the round hitting correctly. This took me about 10 minutes to get sighted in. Good Luck. |

Yeah, you're not supposed to try and zero the rifle with the range clicks, those are BDC.
You zero the scope by loosening the screws on top of the dials and then turning the disc on top the dial. The serrations around the outside of the disc are about 1" at 100 yards. When you get the scope zeroed, move the "1" on the elevation ring to the reference mark and tighten the screws. |
