Guys,
Got one of the SOG (POS, suppose to be good condition) Galil ARM parts kit.  50rd mag not even useable, feed lips crushed, overall highest rating I would give the kit would be 25%.  Mainly a spare parts use only thing.  Instead of shipping it back I figured WTF, lets try this.  Grabbed a 5.45 OOW rec, Chinese Ak trunion, rear trunion, and a handful of rivets.  Turned the threads on the brl down to a .0015 press fit on the trunion.  Pressed and pinned that.  Cut my mag well so it would take Galil mags.  Made a slot for the ambi selector, opened the selector holes.  Cut the tab off the rear trunion, riveted it and the front in place.  Had to come up with a few ideas on how-to a few things.  Welded the stock plug in.  Thats about it.  It is together and works!  Anyone who can host a pic email me and I will shoot you a couple.
