I just aquired a SAR 3 in 223, question is what replacement parts or accessories will work with this rifle? I know this is a general question with probably a lot of answers but do I have to stay with romey parts or is there a general rule of thumb about what will work with what? Any help will be appreciated. |

Be sure to stick with E. German Weigar mags. You might also want to replace the hammer if you intend to use this rifle a lot. The crappy Century hammer in my SAR-3 was softer than warm butter and mushroomed badly after only 5k rounds. Basically, the SAR-3 will accept virtually any accessory designed for AK's with stamped receivers. |
