| What is the difference between the Magazines for the 5.45 and 7.62 guns. Is one smaller. I ran out of 7.62 for my SKS except for one round. But that one round will fit in my mag for my SAR2. |

This would be better answered in the magazine forum, but I will say that putting a single round in the mag is not a problem. More than that and it gets to be a problem. This is a mute point though as there is a diiference in the mag well and the 7.62 mag will not fit into a 5.45 rifle. I tried it once just to see if it would fit. It acted like it wanted to, but just wouldn't do it. I would advise against it. I am not sure, but there could be safety issues involved. I would also advise not trying to fire a 7.62 round in a 5.45 gun.  (I know you weren't going to do that)
