I bought it used from a friend.  I have 7 Russian 30 round mags for it.  It's got a scope and mount, and new black furniture.  It is heavily used, but works great.

Couple questions, this is the first AK variant I have owned.  I noticed that the bolt is easy to pull back until you get to the halfway point and then it becomes VERY difficult to pull back - I can do it, but it seems like this isn't quite normal.  Then again, like I said this is my first AK variant, so it very well may be normal.  Any help?

I also noticed that the muzzle break has been welded on but is loose and seems like it might fall off.  Is it legal (or okay) for me to try to remove it to put on a different one?  I am looking for a slant style one - does anyone know a site where I can find one for a good price?

Thanks for all the help in advance!

Also, got to assaultweb.net, ak & sks section, and do a search on "muzzle brake".
