My Grandmother passed away on tuesday and the funeral was today...She was the last of the Greatest Generation that I know..

WWII has allways been my favorite subject if you will. I collect lots of thing from that time, I have just about every SERVICE RIFLE from both the Axis and Allies...Along with field equipment and other things...

Today after the funeral, My Father gave me my Grandtaher's Training Companys picture, the long type with all the recruit form his unit about a 100 or so men..

This is the only thing that I ever wanted out of all the stuff they had..And I was proud to get it..

And unexpectedly he gave me the Flag that was on my Granfather's coffin..I just did'nt know what to say, I feel so honored that my family wanted me to have the flag...That is why I am sharing this with all of you...I will display these items with much pride...

Thank you Granpa, and thank all the Vets of this Great Nation.....
