I replaced the gas tube on my AKS-74.  Do I need to check anything before firing?  I've never had to replace one before...just checking.

Hehe...well I was putting in a new upper handgaurd and had locked the gas tube in place with a clamp.  I put it on too tight and must have bent it a tiny bit because now I can't get the gas piston to fit through it without using alot of force.

Pissed me off for sure.

Verify your target...pull the bolt back and release -chambering a round.....verify target again....aim.....place trigger finger in fingerguard and apply rearward pressure to trigger.....you should have fired a round by this time......if you need any more help don't hesitate to ask.... Yes,  I know I'm a smart ass. I can't help myself!
