Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - How do you get the old Krink wood off?

I would think it would be like a regular AK, but I'll be damned if I can't spin the gas tube around and slip it off.   and the lower wood...Do we have a secret to doing this?  It's an ORF Bulgarian 5.45 krink.

I want to put my new wood on.....

lower wood was a snap taking off...problem is getting it back on...

so two problems:

#1 - Can't get the old gas tube off the old Krink upper Hg
#2 - Tension on lower HG putting back on - Can't seem to flip the lever up?

The lever is easy, take a gerber tool or good needlenose pliers to it.  FOr the upper, youre on your own, dunno what to do there since I replace the whole thing, not just the wood.
