Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - How do I grease/lube an SKS?

The SKS is my first .30cal weapon.  What should I use to lube it?  I plan on shooting a practical rifle match with it this weekend and I expect rain, lots of rain...  I use CLP on my AR, but is it too light for a the SKS?  Any insights appreciated.

The SKS is not very picky.  Whatever CLP you have on hand should work just fine.
