THis is the first I've heard of it. I saw it on the shelf at Cabela's.
Hornady Match 7.62x54r 150 gr SST Vintage Match #8049 I bought 60 rounds of the stuff at about $1 a round. Can't wait for it to get a little warmer outside. I want to try it in my PSL.   |

What does the headstamp look like?
and yes, 54R is a round screaming for a modern, performance load. I hope Hornady delivers on the potential. |

My guess is Hornady is using the same 150gr SST bullet they use in the .308

For $1 a pop I would expect brass cased ammo like the Winchester Metric stuff.
Has anybody shot the Silver Bear "match" 7.62x54? |
