Very accurate and expensive ammunition. I think it was originally made for the SSG 5.45 sniper rifle. Maybe someone can verify that.

It was among the first 5.45 imported into the US, and was imported for the SSG-82 E.German surplus sniper rifles..

Have few left, shot just a bit better than blue box barnaul in my 2moa Bulgy 74 build a few years ago. Not worth the big $$ imho.
The SSG82 is a neat gun to handle, never shot it though, chamber is finnicky tight and pot metal trigger may break according to internet lore.. but what could be more evil than an E Ger border guard rifle? |
