| I noticed on the upper hand guard of my GF3, that there’s a spring clip in between the trunion and the outer lip of where the hand guard sits. What’s up with that? Anyone else have some thing similar? I’ve never seen that on any AK before. It has me hesitant on pulling the gas tube to replace the hand guard. |

All of our wood furniture AK's comes with a lower and upper handguard tensioner spring. Thank you, Josiah |

| @PalmettoStateArmory - thank you for helping me out. I appreciate you guys and your top notch service. For anyone interested, here is what I was told from PSA- That is a spring that connects to the back of the gas tube to add tension on the fitment of the gas tube with out making it to difficult to remove for cleaning. |
