My Vector UF front sight is tight even with a few drops of oil. I cannot adjust the elevation
and any help appreciated.

Use the rear sight to adj. elevation ...
Spray the FS pin with breakfree or something like that and let it sit for a day or so ...
Then hit it with a hammer ...
