It came on the stock set, which I bought in the EE. Besides, my wife shoots it now and then so I have to look out for her also. |

Those MAK thumbholes have got to be one of the most uncomfortable designs ever! |

Thumbholes for competition fit like a glove, but political ones feel like your holding a doorframe that shoots.
Mbsk01 nice pics but why did you put the black pistol grip on? It`ll look better with a wooden grip IMHO. |

Since you've already gone this far, maybe making it able to take a cleaning rod under the barrel, along with a slant brake, would be a good idea to finish it off.

Good idea, but I'll probably just go ahead a pick up a nice '47 kit with that other stuff already on it. That would save me some $$ and give me a good excuse to have another AK.

My slant break is somewhere down range at last years bulletfest. You can have it if you find it.

Aren't the slant breaks threaded to fit onto a threaded FSB?
If so, how would you lose it? |

Mine was never threaded. The rifle in the picture looks just like mine did.
The breaks I used had set screws. I finally added the AK-74 style break that pins on through the FSB. |
