the muzzle of the sar2 is too small to thread 14mm x 1mm left hand. this is the correct threading for the akm's slant compensator.
hopefully, your existing brake is welded to only the fronst sight base, in which case a jeweler's saw, hacksaw, die grinder or dremel tool should be successful at removing.
another option is to drift out the two 3mm cross pins in the front sight base, press off the fsb/brake as a unit and do the brake removal off of the rifle (where damage to the bbl. is nil).
the ak74 brake is the correct and authentic muzzle device for your rifle. k-var is taking orders for the 22mm x 1.5mm threaded front sight base, brake and pins/spring...if you want to go that route.
if you call globaltrades (texas), jimmy strrtman may be able to locate a press-on slant compensator that fits the sar2's muzzle.
