No updates in all of 2019, wow. I too shall help 2020.
My 106FR, 106UR SBR, and M90NP. Recently swapped the pistol grip on the 106FR for a Magpul MOE. I used to have a a Beryl vertical grip handguard on it, but switched to the older style slick Beryl handguard as I didn't like the ergos of the the forward grip. Arsenal mushroomed the stock pin when they installed it so until I get brave enough to beat it out, limited to what'll match black. Originally wanted to do green handguards and a triangle stock in tribute to the AKS-74 featured in the STALKER games. If I get brave, I think I'd probably go with wooden handguards, triangle stock, and a side mount rail instead of the Ultimak. The 106FR just wasn't a great base to build a tactic-lol AK with at the time I started on it. The handguards on the 106UR are from Combloc Customs. Very nice and look great. I recently found some cheap Arsenal AKSU polymer sets that I sprayed OD green that I'm considering swapping for the wood and triangle. My M90NP used to look identical to Miami_JBT's with the Hogue handguard and Magpul folder, just in green. (I really like green guns.  ) While it worked, I wanted to switch it to a more traditional look, so I swapped out for the like-new wood handguards and the CNC Galil-style folder. Heavy, but I like how it looks and feels now.
I've got a Galil ARM kit and Tortort receiver in a box I need to ship out and have built. Had a wild idea to get an AIMS-74 kit and 5.56 barrel and put together a 5.56 version, but fortunately the kits went out of stock while I was mulling it over. Looking forward to hopefully seeing more 5.56 AKs in the US this year. |

Current .223 ak status.
Saiga 223, dimples, 16" barrel. still sporter. Slowly collecting parts to do conversion. SLR-106F, TWS dogleg rail, ALG trigger, triangle folder Super Vepr .223, ~22" fluted barrel with built-in brake, RS regulate handguard, custom adapter to add stock and grip, currently wearing a stormwerkz folder. 45rd molot 223 mag. SLR-106CR, waiting for form 1 to chop Vepr .223 slant back conversion, Atlantic red wood SLR-106UR pistol converted to SBR. KNS piston, fake green border guard cerakote, RS regulate+sig romeo 5. Griffin taper mount flash hider/suppressor mount Galil ACE pistol. PSA sidefolding triangle brace. Primary arms 30mm red dot. KNS piston. Griffin taper compensator /suppressor mount

Nothing too fancy. SLR-106FR, Attero Arms Bravo mount, Sig Romeo5, Arsenal SAW type grip, Krebs 4 prong flash hider, ALG AK-E trigger, and ALG high energy main spring. I am probably going to order a CDM Gear flashlight mount for my Streamlight PolyTac and call it a day.

It does look to have very little clearance but I don't have any issues with mine at all:
