I ordered an AKM kit & two romanian drums on 11 DEC 2004, as of today I was getting worryed, so I called them and they said the drums are out of stock and may never come in, and the AKM kit is expected in two weeks! They never mentioned any of this when I ordered and they never sent any E-mail confermation, like centerfiresystems.com or tapco.com. Thanks to Interordnance, I may have missed good deals at other places while I sat around patiantly waiting for my stuff to get here. Now I will order some more AMD-65 kits from Centerfiresystems, they have yet to let me down!

And the order page from their web site isn't secured - I almost placed an order but stopped when the page where credit card number goes in didn't show up as secured/encrypted.

I also ordered a  Romanian AK kit form them.  I called yesterday and they said they just got them in and they would be shipping mine late this week.  I had an issue with them early December from a previous order I had where the item sent was a corroded POS.  I sent it back for refund and have yet to see a credit to my card to date ( better be soon or it's a call to credit company to dispute the charges, that is the point it has reached).  In the past I have had good luck with them, but I have learned when it comes to refunds or exchanges, that is an aggravating process......

hinking.gifGuess I was lucky, my AKM kit got here yesterday and it is beutiful - not sure it has ever been fired.  It was missing the selector stop so I called them today and he said he'd mail one right out.....
Just my $.02

I just got my AKM kit as well today from Interordnance.  Not sure about the "Like New" thing though.  Mine has some parts that appear to be a little bent.  I can repair it easy enough but was under the assumption that hand select would give a better grade.  The buttplate was rusty as well as the trap door in the butt plate.  I was wondering how it could be hand select though when the oil paper wraper has not been undone to inspect. Maybe I have a lot to learn.  One interesting thing is one of the previous owners scratched his name in the fore grip.  Don't think I will remove and refinish this stock for that reason even though the finish is very rough.  Also looks like I will have to remove the barrel from the trunion to get the rivets out.  I'm kind of new here, any suggestions on where to get the info and tools to get started?
Thanks,
Trav.

Everyone who orders from InterOrdnance does, but they all wise-up eventually:)  Just be happy you didn't have to go to the BBB and file a credit card dispute to get your money back.

take care,
Tec

I just placed my first order with them last week for a RPK stock set. I received it today and it is absolutely brand new. The only complaint was that they sent it "signature required" through FedEx. On the second delivery attempt, the driver left his cell so I could meet him to pick it up.

Hmmm...

I just got my most recent order from I/O no problem.  I always order by phone.

I've only had (1)minor problem with them.  An item was missing from my order.  I called and
had the missing items in (2) days.

I've been hearing terrible things about IO for over 5 years. No way will I ever risk my money with them.
