I went out today and bumped fired a 180rds thru my Saiga conversion otherwise known around here as "Naughty Natasha" and no I didn't let up I went one mag after another and melted part of the front end of the handgaurd OH MY! I think being a machinist I may have to engineer a melt proof aluminum handgaurd for her. Hey but on the bright side there is no handgaurd wiggle or play now heh heh heh.

Would it be possible to convert a Bugarian style lower hand guard for the rifle?

Iam not sure obershutze would it attach   the same as any AK forearm? If so them it may not work on the Saiga. Thanks for the info I am open to suggestions for melt free options.
