I'm looking to buy a case that'll hold a Polish underfolder, preferrably with either a 20 or 30 round mag inserted. I'd like it to also have an extra pocket to hold 2 to 3 magazines.
I've looked at tennis racked bags at Dicks, but none of them seem to suit my needs. I'm considering either the condor micro drag bag as seen here Condor or this bulldog case Bulldog I'd like to keep it under 60-70 bucks total if possible. anyone have any ideas or comments? thanks |
| It's a bit out of your stated price range, but you might take a look at the Utilizigns Sneaky Covert Rifle Bag. I have the mid size version for my fixed stock Saiga build and can't say enough good things about it. There's even a compartment for one of the rifle "fighting bags" at the bottom, so you can carry the rifle, magazines, and quite a bit of other ancillary gear very covertly. The small version is made just for a folding AK and looks like a classy skateboard case of sorts. |

Those barrel bags look awesome. Here is what I use for my Krink. The Draco is a much tighter fit, so may look at the barrel bag for the Draco.
Condor Sling Bag 
Lots of pockets and molle straps. I even have a holster and mag pouch in the pocket with the rifle. Cant see it but that area is totally lined with molle straps. |

It is a great bag. You can put so much stuff in it and attach molle stuff out the ass to this bag. It also has a slot for a hydration bladder. That is where I keep my laminated copy of my Form 1.
Last time I went to the range I put the Krink in there. In the next outer pocket I put 8 loaded mags. Threw my hearing protection and gloves in the next outer pocket. On the way there I felt like I was forgetting something cause I just had the one bag sitting in the seat. AND, the neighbors didn't see me hauling a ton of gun gear out of the garage. |

They're just the right size. Need to buy more.... I've seriously thought about cutting down a steel Polish/Romanian 5.45 mag to ~20rnd length just so as to be able to have a mag inserted on my Romak2 sidefolder while in the case. Sucks that there's no factory 20rnd mags for 5.45 AKs like there are for the 7.62 & 5.56. |

The 10rnd mags are a bit too short for me to get a good grip on = slower, awkward mag change. The ChiCom ultra short 5rnd double stack 7.62 mags are even worse  .

well i found that bulldog case at a shop today. it'll hold the rifle just fine, but not with a 20 or 30 round mag installed.
i really like that m60 barrel bag idea, but does anyone know if its padded? i've been googling like a fool and have heard yeas and nays on it. i think i'm gonna order that condor molle bag. i like that i can wear it as a backpack. i dont think it'll fit the AK with a 30 rounder installed. i'll try it first and if it doesn't i'll get some 20's. i'll post pics when it comes in. does anyone make any molle mag shingles for AK's? |
