I want to fix the canted front sight base on my Romy, and was wondering when I repin the base, if I would run into any problems down the road if I used roll pins instead on solid pins.

I think the roll pins would work...They may want to walk a little...Someone that has used em will be a long soon...

i would not use roll pins, personally.

hardened solid steel dowel pins (1/8" x 1/2" long) offer a more solid mounting option...less chance of the fsb being shifted off location if it is bumped.
