clayco was an early west coast importer.
i have seen wood that looked like it had a green grain to it. 'mihn' may be 'ming'shan...dunno. there were so damn many chinese small arms factories. if it's a clayco pre-ban, it's probably as close to a chinese machinegun as money can buy. what is the exact stamping info on the rifle? |

There is a guy on gunbroker trying to get 1125 for one, but it has been there for about 6 months. The highest I have seen it is 925.

one other thing BTW....
The furniture is theoritically black...., and the fixed stocked versions were made in the Ling Hoa factory. |

Thanks for the info.
I saw a Ling Hoa today at the show. The furnature matarial looked just like this one, so it caught my eye. It was even a Clayco import. I almost bought it to have a set, but then I remembered that I don't collect guns. Whew! Almost blew that one! |

Clayco imports were the only ones the had that color furniture. Later Chinese guns had the same style, but in red not black. It is a sweet gun, I would hold on to it.
